Aziah

I’m originally from California but now call Switzerland home with my Swiss husband. My love for barre started two years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! Moving my body and feeling strong brings me so much joy, and barre does exactly that.

I’m also training to be a Pilates instructor, so expect plenty of Pilates-inspired moves in my classes. My teaching style? Challenging but fun. Yes, you’ll feel the burn, but you’ll also leave feeling strong, accomplished, and—hopefully—smiling!

Don’t let my size fool you—I may be small, but I’ll still make sure you feel the burn!

Katie

I’m a SAFS-certified group fitness instructor and certified barre instructor with a passion for challenging myself physically—whether that’s hiking across Switzerland in 22 days or tackling a tough barre workout.

I love barre for its blend of mobility, strength, and just a touch of cardio—and because you can really feel yourself getting stronger with every class.

My goal is to inspire people to push beyond what they think is possible, leaving each session feeling empowered, stronger, and discovering muscles they didn’t even know they had!

Marta

Movement is my passion, and I’m beyond excited to share it with you at Joy Movement Studio. Before this dream took shape, I built a career in marketing and consulting, blending my analytical mind with a creative soul. As a trained Co-Active Coach with a passion for energy healing, I’m pouring it all into growing this stunning studio.

That’s what I’m here to bring you: a space where your moving body flexes your mind, opens your heart, and sends you back to life energised, present, and content. That feel-good magic—the strength, flexibility, and joy it brings—is what I’ll pour into every class, so you can leave buzzing with energy and contentment. My style blends dynamic flows with mindful moments, challenging you just enough to grow while wrapping you in kindness and connection. I’m - a spiritual teacher and movement specialist. Since 2005, I’ve been guiding students with a deep passion for exploring movement patterns and building a profound connection with the physical body. My soul’s mission is to empower you to discover and honour your incredible self. My approach weaves together heightened awareness, respect, and care, creating a transformative experience that goes beyond the physical and invites you to rethink how you move through life.

Valerie

I hold degrees in osteopathy and craniosacral therapy, and I’m a passionate barre class teacher. With my background in osteopathy and years of bodywork experience, I offer a unique, holistic twist to barre classes, blending physical alignment with mindful movement.

Fifteen years of ballet showed me how movement can challenge and empower. After stepping away from ballet, I struggled to find an activity that reignited that same spark. When I discovered barre, it was love at first sight. This workout marries the strength and stretching I adored from ballet with a gentler, injury-free flow. What excites me most? No two classes are ever the same—the possibilities for crafting dynamic, effective workouts are endless. After every session, I walk away with a full heart and a clear mind, and I’m dedicated to sharing that same sense of fulfilment and well-being with my students. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned barre enthusiast, my classes offer something for everyone.

Paulina

Movement has always been at the core of who I am. While my career in banking kept me grounded in the business world, it was physical activity that brought me balance and purpose. Over the years, I’ve explored a variety of movement styles, always seeking what resonated most with my body and mind. Barre stood out and has been my anchor for many years – offering a perfect blend of strength, creativity, and grace. It’s functional, challenging, and empowers me in ways that extend far beyond the workout.

A special passion of mine is helping others connect to their bodies through pelvic floor awareness and flexibility, areas that I believe are key to overall well-being. Whether you’re new to barre or a seasoned practitioner, I’m here to guide you on a journey that’s as much about inner strength as it is about outer transformation.

Victoria

I’m Victoria —a Yoga Alliance-certified teacher (+575 RYT) with training in Hatha, Vinyasa, Hatha Tantra Yoga, and Pranayama from India and Bali. My classes are a blend of tradition, intuition, and personal insight, shaped by my background as a Master NLP practitioner. I guide sessions designed to help you reconnect with your true potential and live in alignment with your values.

Originally from Bilbao, I’ve called Zurich home since 2016. I’m passionate about travel, dance, music, deep connection, and lifelong learning. Alongside teaching in Zurich and online, I also lead retreats where we dive into movement, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
