Joy Movement Studio is a beautiful, welcoming space for barre workouts and more , where grace and strength converge. More than a workout studio, we’re a place to connect, find peaceful moments, and prioritise yourself. Our vision is to become a vibrant community hub, inspiring growth through workshops, events and shared joy. We teach in English and we speak German too.

Marta

Joy Movement Studio exists because I saw something special here — a community worth protecting and a space with so much wonderful potential. Following my heart, I took it over, reimagined it, and poured everything into it.

My background so far has been in strategy and analytics — reading between the lines of data and people, and finding clarity where others see complexity. I'm also a trained Co-Active Coach with a passion for energy healing. I bring all of that into how I teach and how I lead.

In my classes you'll find dynamic flows, mindful moments, and just enough challenge to surprise yourself, wrapped in genuine connection and a lot of joy. My goal is simple: you walk in, you move, you leave feeling more like yourself than when you arrived.

This studio is my passion project, reinvented with love. I'm so glad you're here.

Katie

I’m a SAFS-certified group fitness instructor and certified barre instructor with a passion for challenging myself physically—whether that’s hiking across Switzerland in 22 days or tackling a tough barre workout.

I love barre for its blend of mobility, strength, and just a touch of cardio—and because you can really feel yourself getting stronger with every class.

My goal is to inspire people to push beyond what they think is possible, leaving each session feeling empowered, stronger, and discovering muscles they didn’t even know they had!

Kim

I am a barre instructor and pre- & postnatal specialist with over six years of experience helping women move with confidence. My true passion lies in supporting you through pregnancy and postpartum recovery—I understand how your body feels, and I can help you navigate it safely.

My goal is to guide you in rebuilding strength and falling in love with movement again, ensuring you leave every class feeling joyful and empowered.

Paulina

Movement has always been at the core of who I am. While my career in banking kept me grounded in the business world, it was physical activity that brought me balance and purpose.

Barre stood out from everything I tried — and has been my anchor for many years. It offers a perfect blend of strength, creativity, and grace. It's functional, challenging, and empowers me in ways that extend far beyond the workout.

A special passion of mine is helping others connect to their bodies through pelvic floor awareness and flexibility — areas I believe are key to overall well-being. Whether you're new to barre or a seasoned practitioner, I'm here to guide you on a journey that's as much about inner strength as it is about outer transformation.

Valérie

With a degree in osteopathy and years of experience in bodywork, I bring a unique, holistic approach to every barre class.

Having danced ballet for 15 years, I understand the power of movement — and also the challenges it can bring. After stepping away from ballet, I struggled to find something that reignited that same passion. When I discovered barre, it was love at first sight. It combines the strength and stretching I loved in ballet, but without the risk of injury.

What excites me most about barre is that no two classes are ever the same — the options for creating dynamic, effective workouts are truly endless.

What I love about the studio are the small groups and the cozy atmosphere. It's the warm light in the room, the music, the aroma spray and the refreshing towels at the end of the session.

”Ich habe das Joy Movement Studio in Meilen im Vorbeigehen entdeckt.
Infos holte ich dann von der Webseite und meldete mich mit einer Freundin zum 2 für 1 Training an. Ich war gleich begeistert. Erst denkt man : "Easy so wenig Gewicht" , aber die Wiederholungen machen es aus. Auch immer wieder das gleiche Bein bewegen bis es brennt.

Es ist eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Musik nicht zu laut und es gibt einen guten Tee zum Starten. Auch das cool down gefällt mir gut.
Es ist vom Preis her etwas anderes als ein grosses Fitnesscenter, aber das Training ist es wert.
Ich schätze auch die Korrekturen und die kleine Gruppe.
